I think this chapter is extremely important of understanding the trinity and the deity of Jesus Christ. From John 1:1, you see that from the title "THE WORD BECAME FLESH" and it stated that "In the beginning was the Word (pay attention to the capitalized "W"), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1) and then "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

 The first time when I read this, I was astonished as to how simple and clear the bible stated the deity of Jesus Christ. You really need to twisted it to say that "no, Jesus was just a prophet or a normal person who lived." Before I was a devoted follower of Christ, I used to think that the bible is very complicated to understand and you need someone who have a lot of teaching and knowledge in it to pretty much "translate" it to dum y terms so everyday people can understand. But that is simply not the case. The bible, created by God, was made so we can all read it understand it. 

So what does this chapter tells me about Jesus? He is the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was God. If A=B=C…I think you get the picture here. 

Then in Verse 29, John the Baptist said that "look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the World." Here, before anything else Jesus has ever said, is another faithful servant of God's account of who Jesus is. 

• What does He want me to believe?

• Jesus is the son of God and He s here to become our most perfect sacrificial lamb so we can be clean of our sins. 

What does He want me to do?

• Just believe and follow him. When He calls me, I shall follow. From a human's perspective, I am so surprised when Jesus called upon Philip that He just said "Follow Me." and Philip dropped everything and followed him, no questions asked! I cannot think of any single person, alive or dead who withhold that much authority, influence and power over any individual whom he doesn't know. He calls and people just follow. Why doesn't that happen nowaday? Why are we so stubborn and in such disbelieve to the only Truth?

What promise totally WOWS me?

• Firstly, the promise that Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the World.
• Secondly, This is the last verse of the chapter in John, when Jesus said "I tell you the truth, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man." That promise was told to Nathanael after he simply believed in Jesus. So, if that's just the beginning, I am just excited of what other promises Jesus has for all of his believers.

I have been in Herzogenaurach (Herzo) for the last 5 days and it is definitely miles away from my comfort zone. This town is small. At night, it is so quiet that I can't fall asleep because it is dead silent. Walking around town, especially around the downtown area makes me feel like I have walked into a movie set because it is 4 blocks long and picture perfect. I feel like I am definitely getting the real European living here in Herzo in comparison to Vienna. We'll see how the next 6 months go! Wish me luck!

I been in Taiwan for the past week and a half now…I am actually quite surprised Facebook has not detect that I have not only moved from one country to another, I have actually traveled to a totally new continent!

On the other hand, my Gmail has fully realized that I am not only in Taiwan, it has also crawled through my emails (creepy I know, but fascinating too!) and figured out that I am planning a trip to South East Asia. The advertisement, in Mandarin Chinese, is a ad for a hotel in Macao. Great job Google! Even though I have never clicked on these web clips before, I bet other people do and Google is doing a great job!

I guess even the top social website in the world has something to work on and learn from Google. Mad props Google!

#5 London= Mind the Gap but not the accent

#4 Milano= Fashion capital plus friendliest people. A place I wouldn't mind living in

#3 Dubrovnik= Gated city by the sea, a city lost in time

#2 Florence= Disneyland for Female. 6 wedding sighting in 2 days

#1 Berlin= Modern history meets acceptance of individuality. A city where you can dare to be you whilst bath in and be a part of history
